Holeshot Outfitters Inc. (“Holeshot Outfitters”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit holeshotoutfitters.com, order from us, visit our mobile print shop at an event or contact us, and how we use and protect it. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Orders and accounts: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order details, and your account login if you create one.
- Artwork and custom details: the images, logos, names, numbers and other files you upload for printing, along with your size, colour and placement choices.
- Messages and bookings: what you send us through our contact form, event booking form, email or phone.
- Newsletter: your first name and email address if you subscribe.
Payment information. Payments are processed by WooPayments, which is powered by Stripe. Your full card number is entered directly with the payment processor and is never stored on our website. We receive only limited details such as the card type, last four digits and payment status.
Information collected automatically. When you browse our site we and our service providers collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you arrived at our site and items added to your cart. How we use your information
- To process, print, ship or hand over your order, and to take payment.
- To review your artwork and contact you about it before printing.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates and pickup details.
- To answer your questions and manage event bookings.
- To send our newsletter and promotions, only if you have agreed to receive them.
- To run, secure and improve our website, prevent fraud and spam, and understand which products and pages are popular.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Your artwork
Artwork you upload is used only to produce your order and to communicate with you about it. We do not share it publicly or use it in our marketing without your permission. Staff may see it while preparing and printing your order.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only what they need to do their job:
- Website hosting and security: WordPress.com and Jetpack (Automattic), including Akismet for spam filtering.
- Payments: WooPayments and Stripe.
- Shipping: our shipping platform and the carriers that deliver your order.
- Email and business tools: services we use to send emails, manage forms and keep customer and order records.
- Analytics and advertising: WooCommerce and Jetpack analytics and, where you have allowed it, Google.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Where your information is stored
Some of our service providers store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When information is held in another country it may be accessible to that country’s courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes, which in Canada is generally at least six years. Artwork files are kept so we can reprint or answer questions about an order, and you can ask us to delete them at any time once your order is complete. Messages and newsletter details are kept until you ask us to remove them or they are no longer needed.
Email marketing
We send promotional emails only to people who have agreed to receive them. Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to stop receiving them. Unsubscribing does not affect emails about orders you have placed.
How we protect your information
Our site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to customer information is limited to people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it, subject to legal and contractual limits. You can update most account details yourself under My account. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians ordering youth or toddler apparel do so on their own behalf.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
